April was a very exciting and rewarding month for Catering by Saffron’s. The Soulful Arts Dance Academy held its annual signature fundraiser.
The turn out was a huge success and Catering by Saffron’s was there to feed the hungry crowd. We would like to thank you for supporting this wonderful organization that provides a place for children to express themselves through the performing arts.
Also in April, Beach goes Pops was a weekend long festival of fun, music and food held at the historic Pass A Grill Beach, Catering by Saffron’s was there serving up Chef Jackie’s Jerk Chicken for all who attended. With our staff on site kept the grill constantly in use Catering by Saffron’s rose to the challenge and kept everyone wanting more.
What makes this tent different? – not only is the food delicious but the staff has so much fun that you don’t mind waiting in line” said one hungry customer. 
“We are having as much fun as the guest in attendance” said Kim a member of Catering by Saffron’s family as she danced to the music and served up heaping plates of the famous tasty Jerk chicken, collard greens, Mexicali Salad and plantains.
Memorial Day weekend is coming up and in addition to it being a special day, it is also considered to be the official opening to the summer. A weekend of barbecues and picnic. We are running two specials to make your event over the weekend fun and memorable.

Other Happenings:
- During the month of April we reached our fellow members of the Chambers of Commerce of St. Petersburg to build an affiliation with local business. The response was and continues to be a positive one. We look forward to continuing our relationship and are committed to helping in the continued success of local businesses in the St. Petersburg /Tampa bay area.
- Catering by Saffron’s can now be found on the Gatherings website site as a member.
Memorial Day May, 25th is a day to honor those who have fallen in war. Catering by Saffron’s would like to take this time to honor our soldiers for their great sacrifice and thank them for their service.
